• At one point, Tugg proclaims that there is a possible Teen Choice Award for one of his fellow actors, and claims that "they'll slime you and everything!". In fact, the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is the award show famous for sliming winners. The Teen Choice Awards hands out surfboards to winners.
  
  
• The first title card revealing the movie location misspells Quang Tri Province as Quang Tri "Provence".
  
  
• In the opening moments, we are told the location is "South East Vietnam" and later that the specific setting is Quang Tri. During the Vietnam War, Quang Tri was the northernmost province and following reunification it is now in the center. In either event, Quang Tri is not in the eastern part of Vietnam.
  
  

• In a scene where Tugg Speedman is speaking to Kirk Lazarus, the backpack strap on his right shoulder is at times over the carabiner and sometimes to the side of it.
  
  
• Tugg Speedman kills a black-and-white (aka giant) panda in the Vietnamese jungle. Giant pandas are native to south-central China and are not found in Southeast Asia. There are red pandas in Laos; but as their name says, they're mainly red in color (and look rather like raccoons anyway).
  
  
• Kevin Sandusky mispronounces Laos as "Lao": the final s is not silent.
