Trivia:
When playing as Solid Snake in "Shadow Moses Island" if you make a "down taunt" very quickly you will activate Snake's codec, and a character from the Metal Gear Solid series (Col. Roy Campbell, Otacon or Mei Ling) will contact with Snake to give him information about the fighter or one of the fighters he is facing. moreGoofs:
Factual errors: Ness refers to his magic attacks as "PK" attacks. This is supposed to be "PSI." (The Earthbound games use the term PSI to refer to magic, though an early beta version of the game used PK, and this is probably what caused the error.) moreQuotes:
Solid Snake: This is Snake...Slippy Toad: Copy, Snake! This is Slippy!
Solid Snake: Whaa - ! Who is this? What are you, some kind of frog?
Slippy Toad: Easy there, buddy! Just thought I'd hope on the wireless and give you a holler. Don't get mad!
Solid Snake: Hacked right into my channel, huh...
Slippy Toad: But I'm not there to mess nothin' up. Don't worry.
Solid Snake: [grumbles] ...
Slippy Toad: Just so ya know, Falco uses a Blaster and Reflector that I designed, Just like Fox does. But Falco will kick his Reflector and send it flyin' around. Just showin' off, if you ask me.
Solid Snake: No reason a weapon can't have more than one use. in fact, I'd say it's versatility shows how well you designed it.
Slippy Toad: Hey, maybe so! I feel all fuzzy now! Thanks, Snake!

40+ Stages, 35 Characters, 500+ Trophies, 100+ stickers, 20+ hours of single-player gameplay, 30+ different ways of brawling with friends, 200+ songs in Brawl, Build-a-Stage Mode.......
How. Much. More. Do. You. Want? Brawl stands as the best in fighting games, party games, and among the best in Nintendo games. Game of the Year is shining on this gem, and the more improved Nintendo is on online capabilities, the better off we all shall be. Nintendo far from half-assed this incredible delight, we definitely get our money's worth purchasing this game. If you own a Wii, you need Brawl in your life. There aren't enough words to express just how much fun this game is, even if we get shortcomings because of what the competitors have to offer in terms of the internet. However, its free, and its not that bad, and it's the beginning of something good involving Nintendo and Wi-Fi. In the meantime, find some friends, and prepare for the time of your life. Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Not just a game you should own, but THE game to own; if there is one game you should buy in 2008, its this one. You can thank me later.
Presentation: The past, present, and potential future of Nintendo join together to fight evil, and then each other. Epic soundtrack, epic feel, and has the most polished feel since Super Mario Galaxy (10/10)
Graphics: While it looks a lot like Melee, the cutscenes, and jaw-dropping background prove that they poured their hearts into making this game look pretty. The framerate refuses to drop unless you go online (8.8/10)
Sound: Perhaps the best soundtrack in gaming history, the 200+ songs compliment the insane amount of sound effects that do nothing more but enhance the Brawling experience. (10/10)
Gameplay: It plays like Melee, but that's not an issue, especially when the cheap moves are limited and the clones are beginning to gather a personality. There's too much to do, and its all so much fun (9.8/10)
Lasting Appeal: Where do I begin? I shouldn't, because as long as you enjoy the fighting style of this game, it will remain embedded in your Nintendo Wii for years to come. Must purchase immediately (10/10)
Final Score: 9.8/10, rounding up to 10/10
