Fun Stuff

Quotes:
Gil Chesterton: And so, in the opinion of this critic, Mickey's Good Time Tavern is anything but. Dismal decor, perfunctory service, and cuisine that's only marginally preferable to hunger. And finally, on a sadder note, after fifty-three years in the same location, Orsini's is closing its doors. And so tonight a sad adieu to the grand dame of Seattle restaurants.
Roz Doyle: [aside to Frasier] I thought *he* was the grand dame of Seattle restaurants.

Big blue flash....cherries everywhere, 22 July 2007

The Innkeepers is one of the best episodes in the entire eleven years.

It blends classic farce with many laughs. Frasier and Niles buy a restaurant, what could possibly go wrong? the chef walks out, they injure two waiters, the other staff run out when the immigration board turn up, so it's up to the Crane brothers to ask their family and friends to help.

The writing is great, each character has their own bit to do, even Gil and Bulldog appear away from the radio station and everything is a catastrophe. Frasier and Niles have no idea how to run a restaurant, it's funny because they're so smug that you love to see it all go wrong around them.

Highly recommended and everything you want in a sitcom is here, a strong plot, witty lines and a bit of chaos thrown in.
