A good episode with a lot of comedy and the return of a few familiar faces (although I'm not sure that the Shadow qualifies as a face). We haven't heard about Zankou since the World-Change fiasco, so it's nice to see that he's still up to his usual mischief -and still as lethal to his crowd of followers, while almost friendly with the Halliwells.

The argument between Piper and Leo over his new lack of powers is credible, except for one thing : Leo has never been able to self-heal ! It was the major catch to his powers, the one which led to Piper declaring her love to him in the first season. Apart from that, and from the fact that this argument has already been played years ago, the scene works and its conclusion -thanks to Wyatt's ever-entertaining ideas- is very good. Protect his parents by turning them into toys ? Isn't that boy a treasure ! And the last scene when Leo turns into the Shadow is good too. It would have been cool to let him hesitate a bit about losing his powers once more, but maybe that would make him too Cole-like. Finally, I just love the conclusion to Leo's dilemma. He did need a purpose, and Paige wasn't a very convincing headmistress anyway, so the new deal is a sheer stroke of genius. Leo will be great in that role, and that will allow the story to move forward once more.
