  • Continuity: In the tampon-burning scene, Mary's hair goes behind her right ear and back over the right side of her face several times without her touching it.

  • Continuity: In the kitchen scene while Meg Ryan is eating the butter with the chocolate, the sugar bowls lid is shown on and off the sugar bowl without her touching it.

  • Continuity: After Mary and Steven fight about the affair for the first time and she goes to the kitchen to Maggie and Uta, she sits at the table and eats butter with sugar and chocolate. When Mary is on camera the pot of sugar is open and a glass of milk is on the right. Then when Maggie sits down and the camera shoots from behind Mary the sugar is closed and the milk is on the left. It shifts and back and forth as the camera shoots Mary and then Maggie.

  • Continuity: During the breakfast scene with Meg Ryan's character eating butter, a gold wrapper moves two to three times during the scene from the corner of the place mat to the center of the place mat.

  • Continuity: When Mary confronts Crystal in the lingerie changing room, Crystal's champagne glass magically flies from hand to hand during cuts of the scene.

  • Continuity: In the scene immediately following the fashion show, Sylvie brings back the lady who represents Saks and Mary shakes her hand twice.

  • Continuity: (At 01:47:01) After the birth scene, the infant is passed from the bassinet to the girls, the baby has it's arms hanging limply by it's side. As the infant is given to the mother the baby is totally swaddled and it's arms are inside the blankets.

  • Continuity: Before the fashion show, Mary's mother asks Mary to rethink how she is presenting the coats for the show. When we view the fashion show, there are no coats modeled, only dresses.
