After 772 days of trying, Chris Wallace has finally landed Barack Obama as a guest on his Fox News Sunday. Wallace, who began an "Obama Watch," counting the days since he said Obama first told him that he would appear on his show (after the 2006 Gridiron Dinner), told the Hollywood Reporter that Obama has agreed to appear this Sunday. It will be the Democratic presidential candidate's first national TV interview since his defeat by Hillary Clinton in last Tuesday's Pennsylvania primary election. "They realized they've got a problem after Pennsylvania," Wallace told the trade publication. "They realized he needs to be able to reach out to working-class, blue-collar Democrats, moderate to conservative, and that's our target audience." It was a rare admission by a Fox personality that the channel targets the right half of the political spectrum.
