Continuity: Jim's daughter is 16 years old and we are told that Jim was 17 when she was born, so Jim cannot be older than 32 or 33. But the APB on him (on the computer) states that Jim is 35.

This movie might have been sympathetic when it was trying to show political conspiracy, but it completely got it wrong when it came to reconstruct the the murder.

Also, it's a big Gotzpe that Van Gogh is hailed by some people as the big Democrat, and the utter Hero of Freedom of Speech. Van Gogh is the bitter example of Freedom of Speech gone haywire. He used his freedom only to insult, to destroy, to lash out against everybody who wasn't an overweight, VERY unattractive male.

We have to remember that this is the man who was highly anti-semitic, but was such a coward that he had to hide in so-called dreams and fantasies. He said he fantasized about copulating yellow Davids' Stars in the Nazi-gas chambers, an attempt to plant the idea that Jews are sexually perverse, even when they are gassed. just google for "theo van gogh" Treblinka prikkeldraad

A big thema in this movie is race relations. In Van Gogh TV series, Najib and Julia, a modern day Romeo and Julia tale, it seems that Van Gogh was hell-bent and very determined that the TV-show should have a bad, dark and bitter ending, with no hope left whatsoever.

And yes, theocr (short for theocrate?) it's off limits what you say about crime. Because you suggest that they are more criminal BECAUSE they are Muslim/immigrants. This the same type of bad reasoning as saying: The sale of ice-cream rises together with the number of drownings so ice-cream causes drowning! while forgetting that they are of course both related to the summer.

Sure, maybe there are 20 percent more ethnic minorities in jail than whites, they are FIFTY percent more discriminated against, they are 100 percent more refused for jobs. Don't get excited about the 7 percent of Muslim teenage boys in jail, concentrate on the 93 percent that aren't.

And the Netherlands are not the most ethnic diverse rich country, America is, then Canada or Australia, so that is NOT a fact. Maybe you are, but ONLY if you count the 1.5 million Dutch with at least one Belgian or German parent. And you did NOT build mosques FOR them, they paid for that themselves, despite the endless bureaucratic impediments put up by Leefbaar Rotterdam and such. And whatever schools get money from the state, we still have religious freedom in this country, so they are fully entitled to that money. You maybe want freedom of religion exclusive for the Christians? That too, is off-limits.
