What is there to say?Anyone with the intelligence of a Mexican computer can figure out this is comedy straight from a manual.Obviously, every sitcom uses roughly the same devices, but it should not be this obvious. You have the two contrasting main characters,Mona, who's smart and down-to-earth and Dee Dee(yes,Dee Dee)who is the exact opposite. You also have their two mothers,Phyllis and Big Dee Dee(yes,Big Dee Dee),who keep making painfully non-caustic remarks about one another. Then you have the comic relief character Spencer, who is the typical womanizing bachelor and nothing else really. The joke behind the whole show is that everyone exaggerates their character. It's simply that unfunny(you'd think there would be a better word for not funny than unfunny). As a last cry for help the writers actually brought in a homosexual stereotype.Listen up TV writers,it's not because you're a man who likes men that you have to talk or act like that. These cases are pretty rare, and frankly they overstayed their welcome.Let's not forget to mention that the episode titles are totally ripped of from Friends. And the moral lessons, ugh, the moral lessons. This is getting dangerously close to "Family Matters".A painful, painful show that had its cancellation coming from the first minute.
