Trivia:

For the cow scene in which Anne and Diana fall into the mud, the costume department made four dresses. However, Megan Follows did the stunt in one take, and the others were not needed.

Goofs:

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): During Anne's first class at Kingsport Ladies College, she does not yet know Essie's name when Essie faints and has to leave the room. After Essie returns to the room, Anne refers to Essie by her first name.

A great sequel

I have to say that this is one sequel that is just as terrific, if not more so, than the original! Megan Follows, Colleen Dewhurst and Jonathan Crombie are excellent again as Anne, Marilla, and Gilbert. The entire supporting cast is wonderful as well. The story is so romantic, exciting, and absorbing, and the scenery and costumes are breathtaking. There are plenty of laughs in this movie too. Every girl should see the "Anne" movies. I can't wait for the next one!
