Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Full frontal (albeit usually obscured) female and rear nudity. Some male rear nudity as well.

A few sex scenes throughout, some of which can actually be considered rapes.

Violence & Gore

There's a nasty battle scene in the beginning of the movie. People are crushed by rocks, stabbed, their hands get smashed, as well a a grisly shot of an ape-man getting impaled in the mouth with a spear.

A man's genitals are viciously bitten.

An ape-man is clubbed in the head with some blood squirting.

A man gets clawed up by a bear. He gets a little bloodied up.

Some people are shot with arrows or spears towards the end.

Profanity

Not a word.

None.

Many very intense scenes where the 3 main characters end up in peril during their journey. Much of this is amplified by the equally intense music.
