My all-time favourite!, 3 April 2002
10/10

I love this movie! I LOVE IT!! The first time I saw it I was about eight, or so, and I've probably seen it a hundred times since then and I still enjoy it as much! Infact I still discover new things and details in scenes that I haven't thought about before...

This movie has everything: Great script, great acting, style, fantastic camerawork, excitement, Robert Redford & Paul Newman, HUMOUR, great SOUNDTRACK, perfect lines - and above all - it presents the COOLEST ACTOR I've EVER seen on screen!

No, no... Redford & Newman in all honour, but the coolest actor is without competition ROBERT SHAW as Doyle Lonnegan. (Or was it Linneman? ;))

I've never seen a performance like that one by Robert Shaw... Probably the greatest supporting role performance ever made. So complete! So genius! So elegant! AND SO COOL!!

This movie is just - wow! - one of the kind. Don't miss it for the world. And I'll never forgive you if you miss Robert Shaw.

I'll con you if you do. ;)

My vote: 10/10
