An Escape From Reality

This is a long running American soap that has only recently been aired in the UK. I started watching it a few weeks ago at a point that is months behind the states- meaning that I had missed some important story lines- but I was still hooked from the start. With all the glamour, drama and money this gives English soaps a run for their money. In england their soaps try to approach real life problems and situations but come out with nothing. Whilst as this soap approaches the same situations, but comes out on top by going over the top- it doesn't even pretend that they're going over the top- unlike here in the UK. This show is a true escape from reality that is hard to ween off.
