The songs themselves have imaginative lyrics and catchy melodies, a fact that hints at Anthony, Murray, and Greg's backgrounds in early childhood education. Costarring with this foursome are four lovable, costumed characters: Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog. The majority of the video features Greg, Murray, Anthony, and Jeff on uncluttered sets with simple background props that set the mood without distracting viewers from the musical experience. The latter portion of the video features several live performances ("Wags the Dog," "Five Little Ducks," "Wiggly Medley") from The Wiggles Big Show. The tour brought the foursome to America in 1999. Our son, Noah, LOVES this tape. He watches it at least once a day, often twice. My husband and I find ourselves singing the songs even when Noah is not around. We have purchased a few more videos of the Wiggles, but this one remains his favourite. I have rewound it so many times I am sure it is not going to last much longer! Was this review helpful to you? He's also got a learning delay, and rarely talks. One of his first words was "wiggles" and to this day he speaks that word often (his delay means he often learns a word then "loses" it). He knows the moves to the dances, especially 'Hot Potato' and 'Captain Feathersword'. If moms and dads get up and dance with the children, it makes for a good workout. We call it "Wigglecizing". ;) What is even better, is that after they grow on you, you can stand to watch the videos over and over again, something I've been unable to do even with Disney movies (but especially with Barney!).
