Lost Boys 3: The Thirst was recently announced with Corey Feldman coming back as Edgar Frog. Directed by Dario Piana, The story follows veteran vampire hunter Edgar Frog, who finds himself destitute and almost friendless. Just when he thinks his life has hit rock bottom, wealthy vampire-romance novelist Gwen Liebling (in a direct riff on Twilight} offers him a small fortune to go on the vampire hunt of a lifetime and rescue her son Peter from the Alpha Vampire D.J. Sacha Baron Cohen Sets Up Two New Films

It seems that an outrageous comedian will be moving away from his documentary-style films. According to Variety, Sacha Baron Cohen has started his own production company, dubbed Four By Two Films, and he already has his first two films lined up.
The first film is entitled Accidentes, written by Peter Baynham, who was one of the writers on both Borat and Bruno. Baron Cohen will star as a personal injury lawyer who becomes a blue-collar hero when he helps an immigrant win a case against his employer after an on-the-job accident. The film was originally set up at Fox Atomic, but that label folded and a new deal was set up at Universal.
Not much is known about the second, untitled film, but the pitch alone set off a massive bidding war, which Columbia Pictures won. Baron Cohen will write the film along with all of his Borat and Bruno writers, »
Daniel Craig Moves Into His Dream House

Daniel Craig is moving from the glitz and glamour of 007 to a new haunted house film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Craig will star in Dream House.
The film revolves around a man (Craig) who moves his family into a quaint new house, only to find out that the place is haunted by the former inhabitants that were murdered there.
The film is set to start production on January 25, with filming to take place at Pinewood Studios Toronto.

Paulo Costanzo Signs on for A Beginner's Guide to Endings

Paulo Costanzo has joined the cast of A Beginner's Guide to Endings alongside Scott Caan, Jk Simmons, and Tricia Helfer. Written and to be directed by Jonathan Sobol and produced by Los Angeles and Toronto-based Darius Films, the dark comedy follows three brothers who learn they only have a few days to live, and they set off to reverse a lifetime of mistakes. The film is slated to begin shooting November 4 in Niagara Falls, NY.

Showtime has announced the air dates for some its highly-anticipated programming for first and second quarter 2010. Highlighting the new schedule will be a Monday comedy block pairing of the second season of Showtime's acclaimed Nurse Jackie starring Emmy award-winner Edie Falco leading into the second season of The United States of Tara showcasing Toni Collette in her Emmy award-winning title role. Nurse Jackie will premiere on Monday, March 22 at 10:00 Pm Et/Pt followed by The United States of Tara at 10:30 Pm Et/Pt.
Additionally, the fourth and final season of Showtime's award-winning period drama The Tudors starring Golden Globe award-winner Jonathan Rhys Meyers will premiere on Sunday, April 11 at 9:00 Pm Et/Pt.

TNT Secures The Mentalist Syndication Rights

TNT has acquired exclusive syndication rights to The Mentalist from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, commencing in 2012. Currently in its second season on CBS, The Mentalist has emerged as one of the hottest shows on broadcast television. The top-rated series was the #1 new program of the 2008-2009 television season among total viewers and households and won the People's Choice Award for Favorite New Drama.
The Mentalist will join a TNT lineup that includes many hit acquired series, along with network originals such as The Closer, Saving Grace, Hawthorne, Leverage and the upcoming Men of a Certain Age. TNT also recently picked up Warner Bros. Television's Southland.
"The Mentalist is a terrific show that will be an ideal fit for TNT's already strong lineup," said Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks. "The early success of the series also indicates The Mentalist has a great future."

Anna Faris and Dan Aykroyd to Get Grizzly in Yogi Bear

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Anna Faris and Dan Aykroyd are in talks to star in Warner Bros. Yogi Bear. This will be a feature film based on the popular cartoon.
Also negotiating to join the project is Justin Timberlake. Eric Brevig is directing this project which will be both live-action/CG.
Faris is going to play a nature documentarian who tags along on the antics of a bear in Jellystone Park. Aykroyd is going to voice Yogi, and Timberlake might voice Yogi's companion, Boo Boo.
Joshua Sternin and Jeff Ventimilia wrote the original draft of this film, while Brad Copeland has written the most recent one.
The plan is for production on this project to start in New Zealand this December.
