The highly controversial "Gossip Girl" threesome is about to go down on Monday night's (November 9) episode of the saucy teen soap. And, with so many of the cast being possible suspects in the naughty storyline, it's only a matter of time before we know who hooks up. And with Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass already having shared a kiss with a guy on the show, the threesome will probably be even more provocative.
Penn Badgley recently threw his name into the threesome ring when he teased to MTV News that he was willing to do it with the other two male hotties on the show: Westwick and Chace Crawford, if need be. "I can't tell you that," he said, jokingly adding, "Hypothetically, it's all three guys."

Sarah Michelle Gellar, adored as the star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., know what everyone has been thinking: What took so long? "I always say, the minute you start dating someone, people ask, 'When are you getting engaged?' And the minute you get engaged, they ask, 'When are you getting married?' " a bemused Gellar tells People. "And then the minute you get married, they ask, 'When are you having a baby?' And the award for wackiest cross-promotional stunt of the season goes to... The upcoming crossover between NBC medical drama Mercy and Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey. No joke! Sources confirm to me exclusively that Real Housewives stars Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita will play themselves in an episode of Mercy. Here's the sitch: In a scene being shot this week, Giudice and Laurita come up against Michelle Trachtenberg's Chloe in a NJ bar. "It's not a warm and fuzzy encounter by any means," says my spy. Mercy is set in the Garden State, so it's not that much of a stretch. »

This season alone, "Gossip Girl" has gone through a boy-on-boy kiss and an erotic film scene but next week, the show will explore a threesome. There is no word yet which characters will be involved in the three-way sex since the actors refuse to reveal whether they are one of them.
Leighton Meester aka Blair previously said, "We're all in college now, so we can definitely push the limit with the sexuality, which is fine by me. I sort of make the kiss happen. I can tell you that much, and that's it." Michelle Trachtenberg meanwhile was a little more generous, spilling "I would imagine it's going to involve at least one boy and one girl."
The synopsis for the November 9 episode is read, "Not satisfied with just being Queen of Constance Billard, Jenny sets her sights on becoming the Queen of all the Upper East Side by landing the hottest escort for Cotillion. »

There was a lot of gossip surrounding Halloween in NYC, when stars of the hit show Gossip Girl Blake Lively (in flight attendant costume), Michelle Trachtenberg (as Marie Antoinette), Zach Braff (as a monk) and others, celebrated Halloween and Penn Badgley's Birthday at 1Oak in New York city. Hosted by Richie Akiva and Scott Sartiano, the party was the second event of the playground series, for which Svedka tasked the country’s top nightlife impresarios to create their vision of nightlife in 2033. At the strike of midnight, Penn Badgley, who wore an afro, an athletic headband, a fake... »

Georgina Sparks has once again left the "Gossip Girl" kids to recover from her devious ways, but that doesn't mean they are completely free of her antics. Michelle Trachtenberg said there are a lot of scenarios that could bring her character back to "Gg."
"Georgina, she's taken a little trip away. She's gone off with a Russian prince, or so she thinks. So, there are so many more great things that Georgina can do," she told MTV News. "She pretty much just always comes in, destroys their lives for a few episodes, and then is like, 'Ok, I'm good now. I think I'll go get a massage in the Caribbean.' "

"Gossip Girl" fans have already heard the stars divulge details about Lady Gaga's November cameo on the show, and now a photo has been released of the singer on the set with Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley.
Gaga is seen standing between the co-stars with her hair in big, full curls. She's wearing a red dress with an embellished sequined skirt and tape over her chest. Her makeup is theatrical, with heavy-set smoky eyes, lots of blush and full red lips. It certainly fits with Meester's earlier description that her appearance borderlines on the "avant garde" and is "kind of gothic."
"She's pretty cool, so it was very fun," Meester added. "She just makes a cameo performance, »

What kind of attire Lady GaGa wore for her cameo on "Gossip Girl" has been teased through a set-photo released by People. Sporting a huge hair, GaGa opted to wear bright red dress, reportedly 30 ft. long, with crosses design on the chest.
GaGa's cameo has a lot to do with Blair. Hoping to impress the elitist theater kids at Nyu, Blair calls in a favor to land a private concert with the hottest musical performer of the year, the synopsis for the episode is read.
"It was really cool. It was very avant garde and kind of gothic, and she's pretty cool, so it was very fun," Leighton Meester previously said. "She just makes a cameo performance, and we talk about her for awhile. But, yeah, we all have a storyline where we put on a cabaret with her songs. You'll have to wait and see."

The good news is: the Gossip Girl threesome is really happening. The bad news is: we still haven't absolutely confirmed its composition, except that it's going to involve a guy and a girl--so not much help there, except ruling out all-girl and all-guy menage a trois, which is really a stretch anyway.
But we do have clues: check out 'Gossip Girl' Spoilers: Threesome Clues Galore! Can You Figure Out Who's Involved?
Michelle Trachtenberg tells MTV that while she wouldn't/couldn't say anything about this little upcoming showstopper, she said it's "worth waiting for." Just like that Chuck gay kiss?

The characters taking part in the ménage à trois have yet to be confirmed, though internet rumours have suggested that it will involve major Gossip Girl players. The 24-year-old, who plays Georgina Sparks in the CW drama series, refused to reveal exactly who will take part in the threesome. On a recent episode of "Gossip Girl," Chuck Bass kissed a boy, but that's not the only provocative story line set to take place this season. There's still that much talked-about threesome. In her usual sassy way, Michelle Trachtenberg revealed, well, that she can't actually reveal anything about what will happen when it all goes down.
"Ah, yeah, it's me, myself and I, and we get busy," Georgina Sparks herself joked to MTV News. "It's going to be, like, in split screens. So it's going to be like Michelle, Michelle, Michelle, like, 'What body part is that?' But it's all mine."
All joking aside, she went on to divulge that the scene would be "worth waiting for," and pondered the setup: "I would imagine »

It’s a slow week for movie releases, with Fantastic Mr. Fox the only release of note in the UK, along with Cirque Du Freak. Most of the remaining big films this year are due out in November and December.
So, with the big winter films already hyped to the max, and with Iron Man 2, Clash of the Titans and Robin Hood being the highly anticipated movies this Spring, I thought i’d take a look at some Spring movies that maybe aren’t getting the attention they deserve – The Losers, Green Zone, A Couple of Dicks, Machete and Kick-Ass. Note, this is a list of the films i’m personally looking forward to, so you won’t necessarily agree with me…
When is it? – 9th April.
Where is it? – Currently filming in Puerto Rico
Who is it? – Directed by Sylvain White, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, »

Tina Mabry's "Mississippi Damned," an independent American production, won the Gold Hugo as the best film in the 2009 Chicago International Film Festival, and added Gold Plaques for best supporting actress (Jossie Thacker) and best screenplay (Mabry). It tells the harrowing story of three black children growing up in rural Mississippi in circumstances of violence and addiction. The film's trailer and an interview with Mabry are linked at the bottom.

It's a busy day in the MTV Newsroom today. At the moment, Tim Kash is sitting down for a chat with Alicia Keys (she says her new album The Element of Freedom will be a big, synthesizer-heavy departure from her past work). But there's another interview happening just around the corner: "Gossip Girl" and "Mercy" star Michelle Trachtenberg is here to talk about straddling two hit TV shows.
Trachtenberg is probably best known for playing Dawn on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," a show created and produced by Joss Whedon. In the past few months, it seems as though we've had a regular rotation of alums from Whedon shows stop by to hang out and chat about their new projects. They are all members of a tightly-wound, closely-followed community known as the "Whedonverse," which represents the various projects that Whedon has worked on in his two-decade career.

There's so much cool stuff on SlashControl, it's hard to choose what to feature. But since I get to do this every day, that'll make it easier. Today, I'm featuring a clip from one of my favorite new shows, Mercy. It's not like we don't have enough hospital/doctor/nurse shows on right now, but there's something about Mercy that's different.
Maybe it's the actors, which include Taylor Schilling, James Tupper, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Maybe it's the fact that the main character, Veronica, has just come home from Iraq and is still wounded from that experience. And yet she keeps moving forward, despite issues like smashing a windshield with a cinder block when she's angry.

This year marks the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's exploration of 'his' river, and Peter Callahan's film Against the Current certainly functions as a stirring tribute to the stunning radiance and history of the river and the Hudson Valley. In what is essentially a three-hander starring Joseph Fiennes (currently in ABC's FlashForward), Elizabeth Reaser (a great actress when she's not playing Robert Pattinson's vampire Mom, Esme, in Twilight and New Moon), and Justin Kirk, (who you love on Weeds). The film starts when Fiennes' Paul Thompson decides he is going to accomplish one thing in his life, and that's swimming the length of the Hudson, from Troy, NY, to the Verrezano Bridge. His best friend Jeff Kane (Kirk), a bartender/aspiring actor, and Liz Clarke (Reaser), a schoolteacher, are along for the (very long) boat ride. And Mary Tyler Moore and Michelle Trachtenberg show up in small roles. »

Following news that Lady GaGa has been set to make a cameo in "Gossip Girl", Penn Badgley has just confirmed that the songstress will be featured in an episode of the TV series. "Yeah, she's a part of the threesome - I'm kidding," he joked to MTV News when he was met at the premiere of his latest film "The Stepfather". "She's not, but there is a threesome and there is Lady GaGa, so you gotta keep watching."
About the role that will be portrayed by GaGa, the depicter of Dan Humphrey in the hit CW show refused to give the details. However, Badgley mentioned that the singing sensation will perform in the episode and it will be linked to the life of his character. "I don't want to give away too much, but she will perform a little bit. And it is involved in my story line," he stated. »
