For the 20th anniversary edition of Empire Magazine, not only did they have Steven Spielberg as they’re guest editor and reunite The Goonies, they also did some wonderful photos of famous movie stars recreating famous scenes with a modern twist. The photos featured people like Arnold Schwarzenegger recreating his some Terminator poses, Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins doing Silence of the Lambs and Simon Pegg and Nick Frost re-enacting Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
Empire have now collated all these images and given them to us in a lovely gallery which shows them off properly. Some of these were available before today but now all 30 images are there.
I think I’m going to create a collage of them all because they’re too good to be kept on the Internet. They need to be displayed on a wall!
Head over to Empire to check them all out. »

I have included a select few in this post, but to check all of them out click here. Too bad they didn't get Ewan McGregor in there to recreate his Trainspotting toilet scene.

To celebrate their 20th birthday, Empire Magazine invited a whole ton of actors and actresses to ever-so-briefly reprise their most iconic roles for a pretty cool photo shoot. Curious to see what Arnold Schwarzenegger would look like now if he donned those famous black sunglasses and threw on his best badass pose for a photo in front of a motorcycle? Or what about wanting to see Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster reunited for the first time since the Oscar-winning Silence of the Lambs?
Other cool photo ops include Mel Gibson wearing face paint in honor of Braveheart, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost looking back at Shaun of the Dead, Christian Bale returning to his American Psycho days, Ben Stiller showing us all that Zoolander totally deserves a sequel, Gerard Butler giving us his best 300 roar, Laurence Fishburne calling back Morpheus and more. It's a pretty cool idea, even if Tom Cruise »

Celebrity obsessives are not new. But Twilight's star and boyband Jls face a new, Twitterfied breed
For those interested in the derivation of language, the word "fan" has never been much fun. You guess that it must be a shortening of "fanatic", and this proves to be right. But, for observers of culture, the term is lengthening again. Two showbiz targets of teenage admiration have expressed horror at the level of passion they raise.
Robert Pattinson, the young actor who plays the cute vampire in the Twilight movies, has revealed that some of his fans have gone as far as cutting their necks and inviting him to drink their blood. And the blood of fans of the boy band Jls was involuntarily spilled when an appearance in Birmingham had to be abandoned, a surge towards the stage resulting in one serious crush injury and dozens of minor wounds.

This week marks one of America’s big national holidays. Thanksgiving. Every year, on the fourth Thursday of November, America engages in a tradition of food, family, football (in some cases), maybe some games, then more food.
Most of the people I know look forward to Thanksgiving. Most however, do not look forward to the actual dinner event. As with every major holiday gathering that involves family, one can be overcome with a sense of dread. There are boatloads of movies that cover all aspects of the Christmas holiday, but there aren’t too many that cover Thanksgiving. The one I can name off the top of my head that is by far the best holiday family gathering movie is Home for the Holidays.
Released in 1995, the film was directed by Jodie Foster and starred Holly Hunter, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Bancroft, Charles Durning, Dylan McDermott, Steve Guttenberg and Clare Danes. »

Forget the supernatural: In Kristen Stewart's next project, the New Moon star is taking a deeply human turn, playing a troubled teenager in the indie flick The Yellow Handkerchief, due in theaters in February. Costarring William Hurt, Mario Bello and Eddie Redmayne, the movie explores the relationships between three strangers who embark on a road trip through post-Katrina Louisiana. Stewart plays Martine, a teen who hopes to escape her family, while Hurt plays Brett Hanson, a man who has to choose between his ex-wife (played by Bello) or what's next.Related: New Moon Mania: What's Next for the Cast? »

The Glee and Role Models star is one of only a few gay women on our screens
We all know that Hollywood is run by a cabal of homosexuals (or Jews, or liberals, or something), right? Well, apparently, it's not the homosexuals that you think, because it's not gay men – but (cue threatening music, speedy close up and dramatic turn of the head) gay women.
According to the New York Times, America is happier to watch gay women than gay men, citing the inevitable example of Ellen DeGeneres, whereas the American equivalents of, say, Graham Norton are notable by their absence. As though it weren't hard enough being a gay man in America already: you can die in a war, but you still can't get married in some states. And now you don't even have the prospect of seeing your name in lights.
But why is this, New York Times, »

Cinematic birthdays for Nov. 19th, this time with lighter loafers.
1889 Clifton Webb, reportedly as out as an actor could be back in the day but Oscar never gave him their top prize. They never give out actors the statue. Sad, but true. Classic films include Oscar favorites like Laura and Three Coins in the Fountain (review) but he's most famous for playing Mr. Belvedere, the uptight gentlemen bachelor of a certain obvious if unspoken persuasion. I saw the first of the three Belvedere films Sitting Pretty (1948) a few years ago and it was quite an... unh... time capsule.
1933 Larry King, asker of inane questions
1942 Calvin Klein makes pretty things
1938 Ted Turner took Jane Fonda away from me (the movies... same thing) ages ago and I've never forgiven him.
1954 Kathleen Quinlan an actress I don't really get
1958 Charlie Kaufman mindbender

I admit that the standing-in-line-for-days furor around New Moon mystifies me. I mean please, this is not The Final Ever Until Lucas Gets Another Idea Star Wars movie.
I also admit that I am old and a bit of a snob.
But last week, a young bisexual friend of mine put it in perspective for me with two words: Kristen Stewart.
My friend explained to me that while she certainly is a huge fan of the Twilight franchise, she would go see Kristen Stewart in anything. She just can’t take her eyes off of her. And it dawned on me: Stewart is my friend’s Meryl Streep. And judging by the responses of AfterEllen.com readers at any mention of Stewart, not to mention Hot 100 status, she’s not alone.
I have followed Kristen since Panic Room. She was able to make an impression even sharing the screen with Jodie Foster — no easy task. »

Watchmen—The Ultimate Cut (Warner Bros.) Director Zack Snyder’s film of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ landmark graphic novel is as worthy an adaptation of a great book that has ever been filmed. In an alternative version of the year 1985, Richard Nixon is serving his third term as President and super heroes have been outlawed by a congressional act, in spite of the fact that two of the most high-profile “masks,” Dr. Manhattan (Billy Cruddup) and The Comedian (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) helped the U.S. win the Vietnam War. When The Comedian is found murdered, many former heroes become concerned that a conspiracy is afoot to assassinate retired costumed crime fighters. Former masks Nite Owl (Patrick Wilson), Silk Spectre (Malin Akerman) and still-operating Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley, in an Oscar-worthy turn) launch an investigation of their own, all while the Pentagon’s “Doomsday »

From MTV.Com: Dating all the way back to names like Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Fatty Arbuckle, Shirley Temple and the Little Rascals, it seems like young overnight Hollywood sensations have been around for as long as Edward Cullen has been a vampire. Some have navigated the choppy waters of fame and gone on to great careers (Jodie Foster, Johnny Depp), while others (Jan-Michael Vincent, Lindsay Lohan) haven't been so lucky.
In the past year, names like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been splashed across supermarket tabloids, "hot" lists and paparazzi-stalking itineraries. But when we recently caught up with Stewart to discuss the stars' upcoming return in "New Moon," she insisted that A-level fame isn't really as bad as it's sometimes made out to be.

Beverly Hills, California — Asking fans to name the best "Twilight Saga" actor inevitably results in a debate only slightly less passionate than the topic of whether "Breaking Dawn" was a worthy finale for the novels. No matter who your pick is, however, it's hard to deny that at the tender age of 19, Kristen Stewart has positioned herself to become a dominant Hollywood actress for decades to come.
With more than 20 movies under her belt, acclaim in such wide-ranging flicks as "Into the Wild," "Panic Room" and "Adventureland," and praise from the likes of Jodie Foster and Ryan Reynolds, KStew is undoubtedly an actress to watch.
But according to her, it was next week's "New Moon" that demanded some of the most difficult work yet in her young career. »

Drew Barrymore was 7 years old when she first hosted "Saturday Night Live." Macaulay Culkin was 11; Jodie Foster was 14, and Lindsay Lohan was 17. Heck, this past weekend, Taylor Swift reached an industry milestone when she hosted and appeared as a musical guest at the age of 19.
And the question Twilighters everywhere are asking — especially after last week's hilarious "Firelight" Digital Short — is why hasn't Robert Pattinson hosted "SNL" yet?
"I don't know what the actual details of it," the 23-year-old British heartthrob told MTV News, acknowledging the fans' increasingly vocal lobbying (including Web sites and petitions) for him to follow in the footsteps of everyone from Steve Martin to Justin Timberlake. "But I'm terrified of doing stuff like that."

Q: I recently watched a new series from USA Network titled White Collar, and I was stunned by the gorgeousness of the lead character, Neal, played by the beautiful Matthew Bomer. I can't seem to find much info about him. Mind to fill in more? -- rcLoy, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
A: Bomer is from Houston where his father was a Dallas Cowboy. He was a high school (and, later, acting school) classmate of Pushing Daisies’ Lee Pace. He started on soaps, almost played Superman in the latest Superman movie, and co-starred on the TV show Tru Calling (with Eliza Dushku) and in the movie Flight Plan (with Jodie Foster), and also had a reoccurring role on Chuck.

Kirsten Dunst took a solo stroll on the streets of Manhattan on Tuesday. It seems like she's been spending most of her time in the Big Apple recently, which makes sense considering she put her La home up for sale a few months ago. Kirsten spent her Halloween holiday partying with her East Coast pals - she dressed up like Jodie Foster's character in Taxi Driver and was even spotted deep in conversation with Hugh Grant during a stop at the Rose Bar.
